Discover Your Life's Purpose
When you know the purpose of your life, you live a more meaningful life than those who don’t. You live each day to the fullest, because you know who you are, where you are coming from and where you are going.
You also know who you are not and what you are not called to, making it easier for you to focus on what matters most in your life. This enables you to operate optimally in your area of calling because you are able to stay away from distractions. When you know the purpose of your existence, you operate with passion and excitement and your contribution is greater. You also live happily and contented without comparing yourself with others.
Living to fulfil God’s purpose for your life helps you live with integrity because you develop core values that support that purpose. Values are the rules that guide our decisions in life and help define our goals. They tell us when we are on the right or wrong path and help us connect with others who share our way of viewing the world.
Knowing your calling also encourages trust. You synchronize well with people because you know you are an integral part of the universe and you are not in competition since each person has their part to play or are called uniquely and differently. Knowing your calling enables you to avoid frustration because you will not try doing things you are not wired to do.
For instance, if you try driving a nail onto a piece of wood using your mobile phone, three things will happen; you will not get the job done, the phone will get damaged, and you will get frustrated. If you want to drive a nail into a piece of wood, simply use a hammer!
